Homemade Chocolate Hazelnut Spread

2 cups hazelnuts, skins removed
3 T unsweetened carob powder
3 T melted coconut oil
1/4 cup pure maple syrup
1 t vanilla
Pinch of salt

Preheat oven to 300 degrees. Spread peeled hazelnuts on a baking sheet and roast for 10 minutes, stopping to give them a quick toss had way through. Remove from oven and transfer to food processor. To the hazelnuts, add carob powder, melted coconut oil, maple syrup, vanilla, and salt. Blend for 5-7 minutes. Store in fridge.
