Apple Tarts

Pie Crust:

2 c. sifted whole-wheat flour
1 t. Celtic salt
1/3 c. Olive Oil
3 T. Cold Water

Apple Filling:

4-5 medium-sized apples

2 t lemon juice

Dash salt

½ t cinnamon

¼ cup natural sweetener

(honey, real maple syrup, maple sugar, etc.)

Roll out pie crust. Cut out with heart-shaped cookie cutter. Place on cookie sheet. Top with apple filling. Bake in 350 degree oven until crust browns, approximately 15-20 minutes.
